Today I will be going to Suncheon which is a 3hrs bus ride from Wando. Perhaps I will stay there for 2 nights perhaps only 1.
On the way to the bus terminal I pass by Issac, a toast shop that can be found anywhere in South Korea.
Then finally on to the bus terminal bought the ticket and arrive in Suncheon around 2-ish.
I went to i to get a map of the city and to check for hostels in the area. Luckily I did my homework at Issac and took a snapshot of Suncheon Hostel's directions before I left. The ajushi at i wasnt able to understand English but nevertheless he was really helpful. He went to grab a young korean lady to help translate and got me a cab, explained to the driver where I want to go and finally reach the accommodation. Got the whole place to myself but im craving for some human interaction.
Hyunsoo taught me how to walk to the bus terminal and how to get to Suncheon Bay so I went. Wanted to be lazy so I took a cab but the taxi driver say he cannot go there so I went back to the city and board the public bus.
Reached there at 3.45pm and decided to slowly explore the park really slowly-ly because I wanted to be at the peak during sunset which was at 6.40pm. The whole course could be completed within 1hr but I took my own sweet time, bought coffee, take pictures and reach the peak almost 2hrs later.
Then I sat and wait for the sun to set.
And I became like this again. .
At 7 I walked back to the bus stop for bus 67 back to the city and this time I could easily find the way back to the hostel.
For dinner, I was looking for something non korean but all there is are barbecue meat and ginseng chicken pictures. I walked to the last shop before I turn in to the accommodation and decided to just eat anything. The ajuma said something and pointed to the menu on the wall, something priced krw 12,000 so I nod my head and wait for the surprise to come.
I was first served this.. and I kinda know what I have ordered.
Ginseng chicken! !!
I finished the whole pot and went back to the empty hostel, shower, plan for tomorrow and slept.
