2D2N Roadtrip to KL 19-20 July 12

Right. After 3 weeks, finally transfered all the picts from my HTC Desire to my S3.

It was a sunny morning. While taking this picture a off-duty officer walked past and said '不能拍照'. =[

We spent less than an hour to clear the customs and arrived at Larkin Bus Terminal at 10.20am. Bought the bus ticket for 10.30am at RM 34 from one of the seller waiting outside our bus. (Note to self: Buy from the counter and choose more trustworthy company.) Our bus finally depart after 11 when it is more than half full and reach KL bus terminal at 3.30pm after a 25mins lunch break.

We took the KLM to Subang Jaya station (RM2.80) then bus to Sunway Pyramid.

We finally reached at 5.30pm after almost 10hrs later. First stop, Papa Rich for dinner. Yummy curry noodles and white coffee! Made the journey even more worthwhile. Then it was shopping time! We spent 3hrs in 2 shops and were couple hundreds poorer.

Took a cab(RM35 with toll) to The Courtyard Boutique hotel at Bukit Bintang area.

Reviews for this hotel: Been there, done that, won't be back. Not suitable for light sleeper and bring your own bedroom slippers. Suitable for foodaholics as the next street is the famous food street and good for those who like simple east meet west hotel rooms. Location wise, good enough.

Woke up next morning with severel wake up calls from the neighbourhood. Check out and went to Bukit Bintang for breakfast. Satisfied one of my cravings with these yam balls. Open at 10.30am instead of 10am. I think it's at Sungei Wang Shopping Mall.

After that is to Fahrenheit for shoes shopping! And we booked an appointment with the Saloon at 3.30pm. Went over to Pavilion for my favourite cafe! Very pricey coffee but it's ohsogood!!

Went to the foodcourt at Lot 10 for local delights before and after the hair processing sessions. The prices are pretty steep but no complains as we are paying for the rental and aircon as well.

After which we train to KL Sentral and walked to the interstate train station. Since it was still early, we went over to the nearby hotel to rest and prepare for the overnight train (RM38) back to Woodlands. The train was delayed for almost an hour, departing at 11.30pm and finally reached Woodlands Checkpoint at 7am.

It's so good to be staying a few stops away!
